Our Facilities and Capabilities

We purchased Central Bindery in 1984, when it was a 12,000-square-foot Phoenix facilitiy. Today we've expanded on the same site to 36,500 square feet. Inside that space we do binding on an array of leading-edge equipment.

• Our high speed perfect binder collates, trims, scores, folds and glues up to 3-3/8" thick at 9,600 books/hour
  
• Our mechanical binding services are quick and efficient, which is why we handle more mechanical binding than anyone else in Arizona. Our equipment can manage:

  - Saddle Stitching
  
• We are set up for all types of glueing, including in-line with perforating, scoring and folding:

• Our eight folding machines can handle these types of folds:

• Our two scoring/perfing machines deftly manage even the most complicated brochure folds, including gate folds.

• Last but not least, our $300,000 scrap paper recycling system helps save thousands of trees each year. The system vacuums up almost two million pounds of scrap each year from our cutters, stitchers, perfect binders and other equiptment.
