Glueing All types of glueing can be run individually or in any combination on our folding equipment. We also can score/perf, glue and fold all in-line, in one operation.
Remoistenable Glueing
For square flap return envelopes, bind-in envelopes, and mailers. To prevent blocking, Central Bindery uses a special glue formula made for tropical climates.
Side Seam Glueing
For glueing envelope or brochure pockets. Also, for eight- or twelve-page self-cover books glued, not stitched. Please consult us for layouts and paper recommendations for eight- and twelve-page glued books.
Fugitive Glueing
We use hot melt "booger glue" to eliminate wafer sealing on mailers, brochures, or eight- and twelve-page glued books. This can also be used to glue Z-fold or accordion fold signatures to help them feed automatically through pockets on saddle stitchers/perfect binders. Please consult us for special layouts.
